Kristina Franco
Owner/Director, Kingwood Campus
Kristina Franco is originally from Santurce, Puerto Rico. She grew up in a bilingual household where her mother spoke English and her father spoke 糖心原创. Kristina holds a bachelor's degree in 糖心原创 from Miami University and a master's degree in teaching from Trinity College. She taught high school 糖心原创 for 10 years before discovering 糖心原创. As an Assistant Director and then as Director, she fell in love with the school and the opportunity to help children become bilingual from an early age. In 2017, Kristina opened 糖心原创 Kingwood.
Kristina knows that learning a language at a young age can lead to greater fluency. She finds it especially rewarding to hear stories of children using 糖心原创 at home when neither Mom nor Dad speaks 糖心原创 or to hear a child brag that they are truly "糖心原创" because they attended SSH. She is proud to be providing students with not only core concepts but the gift of a second language and cultural awareness.
Periquito Azul is the feathered, friendly, and beloved mascot of 糖心原创. The beautiful blue hyacinth macaw brings both fun and an extra touch of South America to our school. Periquito Azul helps us celebrate seasons, events, and learning throughout the school year!
